Painted this as a final project for my painting color theory class. It's a color-field study, inspired by Ellsworth Kelly. I love sci-fi so I guess this should reflect my love for stargate worm holes and the heart of the tardis...jk. Really I'd been exploring creating form and space with color. Love the idea of giving color a life of its own. Expected to do soooo much more. But I kinda like it the way it is.

Sorry for the poor quality photo. Its a diptych with two 48"x48" hardboard panels. I don't believe that bigger is greater, but this was a lot of fun. Its all acrylic latex paint I think. Bought it all from Lowe's. Lowe's was one of my best friends this semester. Building canvases from scratch every week. I was such a newb about materials.
