Hey! Listen... by Ailin34 Hey! Listen... by Ailin34
Link and a fairy... I haven't gotten to play Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword... (T ~ T)
But yeah, Link here is inspired by the Twilight Princess design.

First project like this that I've ever finished within two days.
Loooooong overdue fan art. This dude has been one of my best friends for about a decade now. I felt inspired out of the blue last night, and this is the result! <3 <3 <3 Have to get inspired more often lol

Took about 10 hours--pencil sketch, took pic with cellphone, and then colored in Photoshop CS6

Just learned about the 'Color' layer filter thingy. Looooove. Though I intended to paint from grayscale...I actually made the mistake of starting with black on white. Learned loooaads with this one <3 Haven't had this much fun in a whiiiile.

Amazing! I love what you did with Navi (or the fairy); that's always what I pictured the fairies would look like under the glow. :)

Thanks sooooo much!! I appreciate your comment.(^ - ^)<3 <3 I'm glad you held my same curiosity. And I didn't register there were so many different fairy designs. They look totally different in Link Between Worlds...

You're most welcome! :D And wow, I just looked them up and they do look totally different! (at least I'm assuming that the things I found were indeed fairies...)

Yeahz! A cellphone cam seems to work pretty well for projects like this, with light sketch work. I used to think that I could only rely on a scanner, but really only have to use one for super detailed line art. I think I'll post some sketches soon and link them. It's pretty cool to see the before and after.  Thankiez for your comment Panda<3 (^ o ^)/
